My name is Hannah Kinsey and I work in the digital accessibility department at NewView Oklahoma. Working at NewView has given me the opportunity to pursue one of my greatest passions: doing my part to help people with disabilities obtain equal access to digital content. As a person with a visual impairment, I have first-hand experience with the barriers found on inaccessible websites, applications, and documents. My experiences drove me to learn everything I could about web accessibility. I became a certified Trusted Tester as well as a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies. This knowledge has allowed me to test websites and other digital content against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines in hopes of making digital spaces more inclusive and accessible for everyone.
