Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Marketing Specialist II for Variety Care will be a critical member of the outreach. The Marketing Specialist II’s primary role is to identify, establish, develop provider marketing strategies, assist with copywriting, assist with organic social media efforts across all platforms, respond to online questions, assist with provider SEO, and assist with in-person community events. This position will work closely with the Outreach team to increase provider awareness, maintain brand awareness, and increase utilization of Variety Care services and programs.
Responsibilities
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and executes provider marketing strategies targeting suitable audiences using appropriate channels such as digital media and traditional media.
Brainstorms creative ideas for promotional events to execute successful campaigns.
Assists in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (Content development, SEO, advertising, events planning, etc.).
Creates graphics as needed and assists with copywriting for marketing campaigns, digital displays, collateral, and special projects as needed.
Leads provider digital efforts to maximize SEO.
Maintains awareness of marketing best practices/tools to achieve successful campaigns and promotions.
Develops and executes marketing initiatives to appeal to target audience using appropriate channels.
Develops means of measuring effectiveness of marketing and promotional campaigns, including advertising and communications strategies to demonstrate return on investment.
Organizes, attends, and/or participates in special events and promotions advocating for Variety Care and our patients.
Identifies providers with miss opportunities and develops strategy to increase provider awareness.
Collaborates with HR and other cross-department leader to seamlessly on-board new providers.
Collaborates with outreach team to develop branding material needed to increase patient utilization and track return on investment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements, Special Skills or Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree or minimum of three (3) years of experience working in the marketing, communications, or similar relevant field.
Expert knowledge of traditional and digital marketing and market research methods.
Experience creating images and animations that identify a concept or convey a message utilizing Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Expert communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Expert organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.
Ability to lead projects and be a team player.
Experience in public speaking and presentations.
Preferred Requirements, Special Skills or Knowledge:
Bilingual (Spanish/English).
Experience writing clean copy for internal and external communications
ADA requirements:
Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
