OU Office of Enrollment Management Communications (EMCOMM) works to bring in the next generation of Sooners. Our team operates from Norman as well as across the state, nation and world. We provide support to incoming domestic and international freshman and transfer students as they navigate the college application and decision process. Additionally, we partner with parents, counselors, and communities in providing resources to students interested in higher education. Our goal is to build a vibrant, inclusive community on campus by recruiting students with diverse backgrounds, educational experiences, and involvement.
We’re currently looking for a new team member for our EMCOMM team. We need someone who exhibits:

This position manages activities associated with the development and promotion of marketing/public relations publications, campaigns and projects within the Division of Enrollment Management. This position’s focus is on project management and implementing communication campaigns.
Helps develop and oversee progress/completion of internal and external communication projects such as publications, newsletters, email content, admission letters, scholarship notices, announcements, event publications, and marketing projects.
• Managing day-to-day operations and staff supervision
• Representing the office as a senior staff member at meetings and special events
• Overseeing advertising and related budgets
• Performing research, analyzing data and developing public relations and marketing plans
• Editing, designing, writing and proofing brochures, newsletters, and other publications
• Performing other duties as assigned
Required Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education/job related experience, AND: 36-48 mos. experience with graphic design, project management, marketing, or communication
• Demonstrated decision-making skills, research and computer skills
• Experience planning, directing, and implementing marketing activities
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Strong writing skills required
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Passion for publication, web, and email design marketing
• Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Budget and staff management experience
A valid driver’s license is required to assist with events
Advertised Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time doing work on a computer and via the telephone. Must be able to pull, push, lift, engage in repetitive motions, communicate, including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others; see, including color, depth perception and clarity; and hear, including receiving detailed information orally.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, visual communications, graphic design, project management, or related field
Preferred 12 to 36 months of experience with project management, marketing, or communication
Supervision: 1-3 Staff
