As Senior Digital Marketing Manager you will develop and implement ongoing digital marketing campaigns for SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology, Skulls Unlimited and our custom cleaning, articulations, and specimen acquisition divisions.
You will build strategies to publish display ads, optimize social media, SEO, and web-based advertisements and collaborate with the Sr. Marketing & Brand Manager and senior leadership team.
You will brainstorm email, digital campaigns, build schedules and coordinate your campaigns with the social media team, creative designers, and Museum sales / admission staff.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Summary/Objective
The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will develop and implement ongoing digital marketing campaigns for SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology and Skulls Unlimited’s e-commerce, Custom Cleaning, and Specimen Acquisition divisions.
This position will build strategies to publish display, social media, SEO, and web advertisements. They will collaborate with the Director of Marketing and team to brainstorm ideas for digital campaigns, build schedules for each element of the campaign. They will delegate the necessary requirements to each team member based on their specific skills – (social media, creative, sales, admissions).
The Digital Marketing Manager will review and measure performance to determine if marketing goals are met. The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for reporting and presenting these results to the leadership team.
Essential Functions
Leading digital marketing campaigns from the concept stage to asset development execution.
Develop and implement strategic digital marketing plans and acquisition plans to achieve corporate objectives.
Evaluates market research and adjusts digital marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Monitors competitor products, sales, and digital marketing activities.
Guides preparation of digital marketing creative assets, strategy, activity reports and presents forecasts to executive management.
Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
Direct digital sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
Reviews and analyzes sales performances against digital marketing programs to determine effectiveness.
Monitoring and evaluating online digital and social media campaigns to keep them fresh and effective.

This position reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing and assists with managing future employees of the department.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time salary position, with typical work days being Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. After a minimum of 90-days in office, some work from home time may be an option.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. This position may be required to attend industry trade shows around the country.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or business administration or equivalent number of years of experience
Five or more years of experience in digital marketing and advertising
Well-versed in the use of social media as a marketing tool
Well-versed in the use of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.
Understands website metrics and best practices
Experience with website search engine optimization, lead generation, and email marketing is a plus
Able to collaborate with colleagues at all levels to develop direct marketing goals and evaluate results
Good at problem-solving and communication
Strong writing skills
Preferred Education and Experience
Certificates in fields related to digital marketing and website development/optimization are helpful. Google certification is a plus. Digital Marketing Manager must have extensive knowledge of the predominant digital marketing platforms. A good grasp of marketing automation and lead software is also beneficial.
