Public Strategies (PS) is a nationally respected consulting, project management, and marketing firm based in Oklahoma City. With support, direction, and oversight, the Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be responsible for the full spectrum of the hiring plan from identifying needs, executing a strategy, developing a pipeline, finding and shortlisting candidates, to closing successful hires. Ultimately, this important role will maintain and improve our brand, ensuring we attract, hire, and retain people who contribute to our companys growth. In addition, the Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be a talent acquisition strategic partner to operations teams and internal customers and must possess excellent interpersonal and active listening skills.
Essential Job Functions
Participate in crafting the Companys talent acquisition and recruiting strategy; create, maintain, and grow talent pools.
Identify trends and leverage competitive intelligence to develop creative, customized sourcing tactics.
Design, compile and analyze metrics to assess the impact of initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships universities, veteran and military organizations, disability organizations, and diversity-focused groups to build awareness of our hiring efforts in various markets.
Collaborate with hiring managers to create and post job descriptions, screen and promote top candidates, and conduct and participate in interviews at various stages of the hiring process
Responsible for all communication with candidates; discuss requirements and details of the position, create offer letters, respond to applicant questions regarding benefits, pay, start dates, etc.
Coordinate the development and production/procurement of resources and materials for career fairs and other recruitment activities.
Conducts or collaborates on internal and external employment and recruitment communications, to create awareness and ensure the company maintains a positive reputation as an employer, including maintaining company job board and social media accounts (for example on Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Facebook, twitter, etc. ).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Eligible candidates will possess an array of skills and qualifications to include transferable soft skills and hard skills. For this position, PS is seeking a candidate that has:
At least three years of experience in all phases of the recruitment and hiring process to include pipeline development and sourcing.
Proficient with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must possess strong candidate screening and interviewing skills.
Understanding of policies, procedures, and employment law to ensure processes are compliant with AAP and EEOC requirements.
Exceptional communication skills; both written and oral.
Understands the external marketplace and the impact it has on sourcing strategies (i.e. competition, unemployment rate, program needs).
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and applicants
Essential Physical Requirements
