Public Strategies (PS) is a nationally respected consulting, project management, and marketing firm based in Oklahoma City. Position Summary
The Recruitment and Intake Manager has an integral role in several leading-edge programs for low-income families to help lead them towards self-sufficiency. The programs are geared towards helping people who receive state benefits to secure stabilizing employment while creating their career pathway via education, training, and/or employment. Self-sufficiency programs are successfully leading the way to help the community to become independent of state-assisted benefits by building their confidence, hope, skills, and paths to greatness.
The Recruitment & Intake Manager (RIM) plays a key role in the success of these programs. The Recruitment & Intake Manager will provide the vision, leadership, direction, and motivation needed to recruit, enroll, and guide people into the program that best meets their needs. They will show expertise in knowing all of the programmings that Public Strategies offers in order to best serve its clients while managing team goals, community partner relationships, intake processes, and the intake experience of participants.
Essential Job Functions
Manage the development and maintenance of a community partner and referral site network that generates adequate and consistent program referrals.
Direct community outreach and engagement efforts and represent programs services to the public and future participants.
Oversee referral generation and conversion processes
Manage the intake process and intake staff, utilizing established protocols and an intake team
Provide leadership and direction to programs on pathways towards self-sufficiency within Public Strategies
Coach and guide appointed intake staff on processes and procedures
Function as the point contact for staff collaboration for cross-departmental and programmatic staff and tasks
Actively communicate and collaborate with other Public Strategies program recruiting and engagement teams to facilitate information sharing and mutual support, create efficiencies, and ensure recruiting and engagement efforts are aligned company-wide
Recruit and engage potential program participants o Build dynamic relationships between community partners, internal programs, and intake team o Oversee the orientation and initiation process for each program
Collaborate with the Senior Managers and Communications team to ensure outreach strategies and materials are effective
Develop processes and procedures that align collaborative recruitment efforts
Manage programs assessment activities, tools, and systems development
Organize and initiate recruitment staff collaboration and training
Manage all aspects of completed intakes o Manage all referral and intake documentation in designated CRM (customer relationship management software)
Assist with intakes as needed to support the intake team’s schedule
Manage and build an effective, motivated outreach and intake team o Provide training and coaching in systems and best practices o Ensure mastery of all facets of the role for each team member

Education/Training
Bachelor’s Degree, required
7+ years of relevant experience or documented expertise in a relevant field in lieu of bachelors will be considered
Applicable fields and disciplines include business, social sciences, humanities, public administration, public policy, education, not-for-profit management, and related fields.
Experience
Five years of relevant work experience in project management, project planning, program operations, or strategic planning, required
Leadership experience and skill in developing and managing staff
Excellent written and oral communication skills and analytical skills and the ability to effectively translate research into practice for wide dissemination, required
Understanding of human service programs to strengthen low-income families, preferred
Experience in sales and other customer service industries is a plus
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; mastery level knowledge and experience preferred
Special Requirements
Ability to work a flexible schedule, evenings, and some weekends
Ability to travel within the city and surrounding areas for outreach
Ability to meet established goals on a monthly basis through the support of a full-team effort
Personable, a critical thinker, self-motivated, hard-working, detail-oriented and flexible
Essential Physical Requirements
Sufficient mobility and strength to move about the facility. Ability to be mobile throughout the community.
