Support the University’s enrollment management goals by contributing to communication, marketing and outreach efforts from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to prospective students, their families, high school and college counselors, and other internal and external populations. Assist in the development and implementation of outreach programs, including direct mail, phone and social media campaigns. Work within the office’s recruitment database program to track and measure communication outreach efforts. Track and maintain office publication inventory. Coordinate mass mailing with printers and external mail house operations. Plan and implement strategies to market and advertise the university. Write copy for publications, website, emails, publication and press releases. Create presentations. Provide leadership in carrying out special initiatives as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Student Communications as well as the Director of Undergraduate Admissions. Ability to lift 45lb (recruitment materials)
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in communications, including, but not limited to writing, editing, social media, video, web, and content creation.
• Excellent writing skills, verbal communication and technical skills are required. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail are essential.
