Description
The associate project manager will observe and maintain the daily workloads to keep the teams on task. The perfect candidate will be well versed in marketing, web design, and strategy to effectively communicate with everyone across the agency.
Collaborating with designers, developers, strategists and account managers you will monitor projects from new website builds, to inbound marketing campaigns and data-driven branding projects from concept through completion. We’re looking for a person who is a problem solver, extremely detailed-oriented and motivated to grow with us for the long term.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Assist in scheduling and management of marketing and web design projects.
- Manage resources and cross-functional team bandwidth.
- Work closely with stakeholders & leadership for project requirements/scope and team members to track & document requirements and changes throughout a project’s lifecycle.
- Evangelize consistency within & use of our project management system.
- Provide status updates to the SVP of Creative Operations and other leadership on a weekly basis.
- Assess and evaluate project success & recommend improvements when necessary.
- Clear roadblocks, problem solve and keep things moving.
- Set benchmarks and goals for all cross-functional teams and individuals.
- Simplify and streamline complex workflows.
- Build relationships with team members.
- Keep a positive outlook & motivate team members.
- Stay updated on marketing trends, tools & best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with a project management system such as Asana, Wrike, Workamajig, ClickUp, etc.
- Strong collaboration skills & the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to create project schedules and delegate tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated and proactive communicator.
Bonus Points:
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Scrum, Agile, Waterfall, etc.
- Basic digital marketing skills such as social media, SEO and analytics.
- Knowledge of content management systems.
- Marketing, advertising or public relations agency experience.
- An eye for good design and innovative marketing approaches & strategies.
