Marketing in an Increasingly Private World: Bracing for Change
With the recent Cambridge Analytica scandal, the passage of the GDPR in Europe and the rash of data breaches in even the most tech-savvy of companies, the public’s willingness (and marketers’ abilities) to trade personal information for services is fleeting. Come to this month’s AMA Learning Lab where Avery Oden will lead a discussion about:
- the methods, types, and quantities of data collection happening right now
- what GDPR is and why marketers should care
- the current and changing landscape of privacy in technology and business
- what digital marketing programs of the future will look like
About the Speaker:
Avery Oden is an OKC-based digital marketing expert who was driven to the infosec industry after many years of helping companies collect and exploiting users’ personal information. Now he’s working at TokenEx, where he helps companies solve the privacy and security problem rather than perpetuate it.
