Topic: Developing a Credible Marketing Plan and Budget for Your Financial Institution
This session will help you develop a comprehensive marketing plan and detailed marketing budget that will give marketing more credibility and give you a working document you can actually use. We’ll look at the seven key elements of a marketing plan: a market position statement, the role of marketing at your FI, your marketing functions, an overall marketing plan as well as specific project plans, a marketing projects calendar and your budget. We’ll also look at the seven step process for developing your written plan and building your budget and some common approaches to organizing plans and budgets. This workshop will be chock full of helpful information, presented just in time for your annual fall planning. You won’t want to miss it.
Bio for Lori Philo-Cook
Lori Philo-Cook, CFMP founded InnovoMarketing, a virtual marketing and communications agency specializing in community bank marketing, in 2008. She helps financial institutions with strategic planning as well as a variety of marketing and communications projects and conducts marketing workshops for community banking organizations. Lori has over 25 years of senior management level experience in bank marketing and public relations. Over the years, she has built a reputation for creating distinctive brands and practicing a fully integrated approach to marketing, using all elements of the marketing mix. Lori’s passions include branding, integrated marketing, employee engagement, customer loyalty/service and the small business. Lori is a Certified Financial Marketing Professional, has a BA in Communications from Oakland University and a MA in Communications (with a focus on PR and Advertising) from Wayne State University.
