DIY Website UX Testing
You don’t have much time to deliver information on your website before the user goes elsewhere. At any stage of development, making sure your website is as usable as it is pretty is one of the best investments you can make. DIY UX allows for ongoing improvements without stopping for a full-scale UX Study, which is ideal but not nimble.
Areas of discussion will include:
- How to test the usability of your website on a shoestring budget
- The importance of UX testing
- Establishing UX qualifications
- Why Guerrilla style
- How to think like a user, not a marketer
- Learn the meaning of:
- Usability Labs – task based UX
- Prototyping – UX based upon ideas
- Card Sorting – grouping information together
This SIG is designed for marketers; no experience in website design or testing is needed. This meeting will also include simple, hands-on exercises as well as an opportunity for Q & A.
